Silver Gaisce Awards

Last week, 10 of LCC’s 6th
year students received their Silver Gaisce award. Gaisce – The President’s Award is Ireland’s national youth award and is a self development programme for young people aged 14-25. This is a fantastic achievement that requires dedication and hard work. Each of the students completed 26 weeks in three different challenge areas as well as a two night and three day adventure journey which took place in Glendalough. Congratulations to all of the awardees- Cathal Conway, Aoife O’Regan, Vlad Grosu, Leah Sisk, Erin Cooper, Alannah Carroll,  Sarah Heffernan, Lara Peyton, Róisín Duddy and Lillian Wykes.
