School timetable

Your child’s full timetable will be available when they arrive for induction. Your child’s subject options and class teachers, will be available to you to view via our school app under the TYRO tab in August. You will receive details in August on how to access TYRO. Please ensure you have downloaded the Lucan Community College app from either PlayStore (Android) or AppStore (Apple) to ensure you receive important communications about this in August.

Uniform

Incoming 1st year Induction Friday 28^th August 11:00 – 13:00 (day 1) and Monday 31^st August 9:30 – 11:00 (day 2):

Students should arrive in full uniform and require only a copy, a pencil case and a small snack on their induction days. A locker will be allocated to students, and books can be brought in gradually over the first week.

Classes

Classes begin on Thursday, 3^rd September, for all students at 8:50 am. Please note that classes finish at 13:06 on this day as staff meetings are scheduled for the afternoon. Friday, 4^th September, is a full day as per the timetable.
