Lucan Community College is delighted to congratulate the Leaving Certificate Class of 2026 on a year of exceptional achievement, commitment and perseverance. The results reflect not only the hard work and dedication of our students, but also the unwavering support of their families and the commitment of our teaching and support staff throughout their educational journey.
This year, 152 students received Leaving Certificate results, representing one of the largest cohorts in the school’s history. Analysis of the results shows a highly successful year across a broad range of subject areas and student pathways. Based on the CAO points calculations completed from the official results data, students achieved an impressive range of outcomes, demonstrating both academic excellence and consistency across the year group.

The results also highlight the strength of the school’s inclusive educational approach. Students achieved excellent outcomes across a broad range of subjects including sciences, business, languages, engineering, technology, humanities, creative subjects and physical education, reflecting the diverse talents and interests of the student body.
As students now progress to higher education, further education, apprenticeships, employment and a variety of exciting opportunities, the entire school community joins in celebrating their achievements and wishing them continued success.
