Congratulations to Our Junior Cycle Students and Their Families
October 8, 2026
Congratulations to all of our students and their families on the excellent Junior Cycle results issued yesterday.
These results reflect three years of hard work, commitment, perseverance and growth. We are immensely proud of the achievements of our students and grateful for the support and encouragement provided by parents and guardians throughout their Junior Cycle journey. Your success is a testament to the partnership between home and school and to the dedication shown by our students each day.
As you celebrate your achievements, please note that students were made aware yesterday that the State Examinations Commission (SEC) had mistakenly issued errors with some of the grade descriptors issued alongside yesterday’s results. Students should access their results through the SEC Candidate Self-Service Portal using the PIN provided with their results. The portal contains the correct grade descriptors.
We encourage all students and families to refer to the SEC portal for the accurate grade information.
Well done once again to our Junior Cycle Class of 2026. We are incredibly proud of all that you have achieved and wish you every success as you continue your educational journey at Lucan Community College
