Annual Christmas 2022 ‘Secret Bag’ collection will take place on Wednesday 7th December

Christmas 2022 sees many additional needs and burdens placed upon families in the local community during these difficult and challenging times. It is very important that Lucan Community College continues to support St. Vincent de Paul and their work in our community.

On Wednesday 7th of December, we are having our annual Christmas ‘Secret Bag’ collection for the local St. Vincent de Paul society, St. Patrick’s Lucan. This marks 37 years of fundraising for St. Vincent de Paul in Lucan Community College. A Christmas stocking will be passed around each classroom during tutorial where students will place some money towards the society. Big or small, all contributions are gratefully appreciated and will go directly into our local community to help those in need this Christmas. Please give as generously as possible.

Most importantly, if you are a family in need, the services of St. Vincent de Paul are available to help you. Please contact your local office.

Ryan Lally from Grá Pizza ran a great workshop today on pizza making as part of a wellbeing promotion, and also talked about setting up your own business and all about buying good Irish ingredients. Staff and students were delighted with the pizzas! #wellbeing #buyIrish @ddletb
