Congratulations to Kevin McGowan who was appointed to the role of Acting Deputy Principal on 27th September 2022. Mr McGowan has been a teacher of Metalwork, Engineering and Technology in Lucan Community College since 1994. He has held the role of ICT/Digital Coordinator for 21 years and more recently as Punctuality Officer also. He has spear-headed school improvement in the area of ICT introducing additional computer rooms and mobile student devices as well as teacher laptops. His leadership, along with a team of digital teacher leaders, was crucial during the period of remote learning in recent years when support was ongoing and essential for students and teachers.
