Lucan CC student shines for Leinster Soccer

Congratulations to our wonderful 1st year student Aoibhe Fleming who represented Leinster Football in last weekend’s FAI Schools Under 15 Girls’ Interprovincial Tournament at the AUL Complex, Clonshaugh.

REIGNING CHAMPIONS LEINSTER maintained their phenomenal record in this competition in the AUL Complex, Clonshaugh with their seventh title in a decade.

The Champions continued their 100% record in the series and put in a flawless display to notch up five goals in three games.

The Interprovincial series is the first step in the process of selecting the FAI Schools International Development squad of 18 players who will compete in the Bob Docherty Cup. 

Well done Aoibhe, we were so delighted for you on your performances for Leinster.

We are delighted to announce the winners of our Reading Week Poster Competition for 2023. The standard of talent and creativity was outstanding. Well done to everyone who entered a poster. The overall winners are Ellen Birnie (Junior) and Naoise Murphy (Senior). Congratulations!

Ryan Lally from Grá Pizza ran a great workshop today on pizza making as part of a wellbeing promotion, and also talked about setting up your own business and all about buying good Irish ingredients. Staff and students were delighted with the pizzas! #wellbeing #buyIrish @ddletb
