Debating win over local rivals

Congratulations to the senior debating team who defeated local rivals St. Josephs College. The motion was ‘The global population timebomb is being diffused’  -which Lucan Community College successfully passed, securing them the local debating trophy.

The team was captained by Alex Healy with Emmet Bellew, Blaithnaid Henry and Gayatri Sangra.

Well done also to Alex’s sister Olivia Healy, a past pupil of Lucan Community College, who chaired the debate
