Our Guidance Department and Jigsaw, The National Centre for Youth Mental Health, will host a talk for parents on the key issues impacting on mental health and wellbeing in the college this coming Tuesday, 24th April at 7.30pm.
Jigsaw was established in 2006 and are the only mental health service in the country with an exclusive focus on 12-25 year olds.
We urge parents to attend this event as it will be practical and informative in showing how best to support young people with their mental health.
The talk is a part of Lucan Community College’s Wellbeing week which will feature a host of activities in being active as well as the healthy eating and mental health spaces.
Thank you to Ms McManus for organising this event.
