Lucan CC teacher shines in stage performance of Handel’s Messiah

Congratulations to Mr Manning, a PME teacher in our Music department, for his beautiful performance as the bass soloist in Handel’s Messiah in Maynooth University last week.

Mr Manning has been with us since September of this academic year where his love of music has seen him combine his teaching duties with his stage performances.

Mr Manning continues with his successful music career with two upcoming performances in April and May.

For anyone looking to witness his extraordinary musical talent, he will take to the stage in Castletown House on April 7th at 7.30pm for one more performance of Handel’s Messiah.

This will be followed by Sondheim’s Side by Side in the National Concert Hall on May 22nd.

Ryan Lally from Grá Pizza ran a great workshop today on pizza making as part of a wellbeing promotion, and also talked about setting up your own business and all about buying good Irish ingredients. Staff and students were delighted with the pizzas! #wellbeing #buyIrish @ddletb
