Lucan Community College set to light up the National Concert Hall

Congratulations to our Music department and the senior cycle Music students who have been selected from a record number of applicants to perform in the prestigious Festival of Music on February 28th 2018.

The Lucan Community Music Students will perform their Aslan Medley on the night, as well as performing alongside the other choirs as part of a group choir performance.

The Festival of Music will be held in the National Concert Hall and is a celebration of music from around the globe in conjunction with Dublin and Dun Laoghaire ETB.

We are delighted to announce the winners of our Reading Week Poster Competition for 2023. The standard of talent and creativity was outstanding. Well done to everyone who entered a poster. The overall winners are Ellen Birnie (Junior) and Naoise Murphy (Senior). Congratulations!

Ryan Lally from Grá Pizza ran a great workshop today on pizza making as part of a wellbeing promotion, and also talked about setting up your own business and all about buying good Irish ingredients. Staff and students were delighted with the pizzas! #wellbeing #buyIrish @ddletb
