Parents Association big bingo night this coming Thursday

Lucan Community College Parents Association host their annual bingo fundraiser this week in the Lord Lucan Pub on Thursday at 8.30pm.

The bingo extravaganza takes place on Thursday 7th December and all proceeds raised on the night will go towards helping the College with the proposed extension.

The Parents Association chairperson, Sandra Coleman, encourages all parents to attend noting that “the night is always great fun and it really is worth coming along to”.
“The Parents Association are looking for donations of non-perishable goods to make up hampers for the raffle. Donations of tinned food, biscuits, wine are always welcome and any other items you may have. Also, if anyone has unwanted gifts that they wish to donate we would love to take them off your hands”, Ms Coleman added.
All items can be dropped into the school office marked for the attention of the Parents Association.

We are delighted to announce the winners of our Reading Week Poster Competition for 2023. The standard of talent and creativity was outstanding. Well done to everyone who entered a poster. The overall winners are Ellen Birnie (Junior) and Naoise Murphy (Senior). Congratulations!

Ryan Lally from Grá Pizza ran a great workshop today on pizza making as part of a wellbeing promotion, and also talked about setting up your own business and all about buying good Irish ingredients. Staff and students were delighted with the pizzas! #wellbeing #buyIrish @ddletb
