How to buy school books – from The Bookhaven

Bookhaven Mobile Unit visiting the school 12.30-2.30pm Wednesday 2nd September

Please note that school journals can be purchased directly from the school office now or by the students when they attend on their first day at a cost of €12 and are no longer available from The Bookhaven.

Thanks to all parents who attended the school book sale recently. Thanks also to the Bookhaven company for facilitating us with a school visit. Here is the procedure for buying remaining books from The Bookhaven if you do not wish to travel to the shop.

For parents/students who are not using a book grant voucher and are paying by credit card:

Please order online (www.bookhaven.ie) using your credit card and specify Lucan Community College as the collection point by 5pm Monday 31 August. The books will be delivered in sealed parcels and can be collected from the school office or from The Bookhaven mobile unit when it is due to visit the college on Wednesday 2nd September, 12.30-2.30pm. This avoids any payment of a delivery charge for you.

For parents with or without a book grant voucher and not paying by credit card:

You can email info@bookhaven.ie mentioning Lucan CC as the collection point and indicating what books/stationery you would like to purchase on Wednesday from the mobile unit so that they can be sure to have it in stock. This email must be sent by 5pm on Tuesday 1st September.
