Our trip to Stratford was a great success. Students visited Warwick Castle for a tour and on a visit to Holy Trinity Church they saw the place where William Shakespeare was buried. They also saw a performance of “The Death of a Salesman” by the Royal Shakespeare Company. On Friday students went to Shakespeare’s birthplace, Ann Hathaway’s cottage, and Mary Arden’s farm. At night students were entertained by a ghost walk around Stratford with a rather scary man called Vincent.
On Saturday students visited Alton Towers and tried as many rides as possible. Throughout the tour students were complimented on their behaviour, their enthusiasm and their standard of questions. Students wish to thank Ms Mellett and Ms O’Donoghue for a wonderful tour. Thanks to Hollie (2nd yr) for providing the information for this article.
