Calling all Lucan CC students, parents and staff. As part of our numeracy policy, we are asking everyone to “Put your Maths Eyes on” this summer and share what you see with us. Using the theme of “Summer Maths” we want you to take a photograph associated with the summer holidays which has an element of maths in it. This could be anything from taking a photo of an ice-cream CONE on a sunny day, a beach ball (SPHERE) being used at the beach or a plane/train TIMETABLE used to get you to your holiday destination.

You can print the photo and drop it into us with your name and class on the back or email it to the school at admin.lucancc@ddletb.ie with your name.
When we gather the photos in September the most imaginative and interesting ones will be displayed on the school website and on a new Lucancc Maths Facebook page and there may even be a prize or two!
