As the motto of our school, “AONTAS‟ – “Unity‟, suggests, we strive to ensure that a strong spirit of community is established. This can only be achieved if everyone feels safe and free from intimidation and bullying in their school environment.
Lucan Community College recently revised its anti-bullying policy in line with National Guidelines and operates a strong anti-bullying programme through the Social Personal and Health Education (SPHE) programme and at whole school level.
Lucan Community College’s Parents Association will host their first meeting of the new school year on the 5th September at 7.30pm. The Parents Association would love to use the occasion of this first meeting to welcome new members, whether your children are in the college already or if they are new students to us.
The Parents Association is great way to get involved in school life, get to know other parents and contribute in a voluntary capacity.
